and in fact that is the name of the "doggie daycare " I use in Edmonton, but received these photos of Dysis and other dogs boarding at Whispering Willows kennel where she is just north of the city.
Life does not look too tough.....only other news I got was that she got bit on the leg by the other husky, who apparently was on meds, but with separation and some antibiotics Dysis is doing well.
Jacqueline from the kennel comments "After spending time with Dysis. I have noticed that she has a dominant personality (NOT aggressive, just wants to be the leader). She would be fine with a puppy as long as she knows that you are the one in charge. (not her) Have you ever done any "leadership" work with Dysis? "
I have not made any decisions about the puppy yet. My biggest thing is trying to find an appropriate sized kennel and re-booking my return travel...not with Air canada. I do agree "Nanook" the puppy might be a good comagnion for Dysis, but I also have to think about myself and puppy training agaon.however this may be a moot dicussion as yesterday noon went to visit and the pup was gone...escaped from her porch.
I leave today for Rankin for a month but will try and visit again to see if the pup is there.
Later note:
I did get out for a mid afternoon walk,
very windy and cold but the pup was on her porch
and took her for abit of a walk and then visit in my suite
where she devoured some left over buns.
