Dog days of August summer in the city….
Both sunny & rainy days as we approach late summer with unpredictable weather somewhat my own schedule, the dogs are not actually getting a lot of attention in the last few weeks.
Tuesday night headed with jars and cherries on the bike and absolutely drenched in a sudden 20-minute downpour before I got there, thus the baggy change of clothes 
while mine in the drier. We made sour apple juice, dried some apples and I experimented with this fruit mix on some jam. 
My days have been at the hospital on maternity and ICN and aren’t newborn’s expressive like this little one!
The yard in spots is a glorious mass of color in spots
as these lilies, 
dill weed and bachelor buttons indicate 
….again the more perennials the better…unruly gardens rule! Still lots of weeds in other spots for me to get at next week!
