Now in rehab....
Here are a few shots of some of the journey, including the small ER room in the health center in Pangnirtung where after the fall in the ice, others arrived including some of my work colleagues to bundle up in the bylaw ambulance and
set up with pain meds 
and 
this is the good leg

then to Ottawa....finally met by the daughter...what a welcome sight! 
After my left femur surgery, 
8 screws, 7" plate, 23 staples, 4 days in orthopedics, a 4 bed ward which didn't allow alot of sleep, 
but now I have moved over to a short term rehab here in Ottawa....with PT/OT routines and for the first time in 10 days a shower, what a relief, and finally got outside in my wheelchair, 
even if it is just to sit in the entry way.

Bonnie you amaze me at every turn...that you could actually take pics while all this hellery was going on just leaves me with mouth hanging open.
