Sunday Afternoon Romp & Monday Vet visit
House bound too long, after church yesterday, I donned the long parka, mitts and coffee mug, very pleased to get out and get some sunshine despite the cold.
The feeder near the ravine was a twitter with chickadees... can you spot them among the branches?
Met up with another dog walker of three large also rescue dogs. Apparentlywe were not the only ones needing to get out as this Sunday afternoon meeting of walkers and dogs illustrates...Nanuq is curious on the contents of the bably stroller!
The baby is 9 months & puppy 12 weeks and only conflict at home was over toys!Everyone ended sniffing and greeting.
Off in the open field just above the ravine....following the path above the ravine on return walk
.How many dogs can hold onto one stick?
Romps and rolls..Last minute before heading up the hill to the car.
MONDAY VET VISITCould this have all been done with a simple $8 bottle of benedryl
and not the $170 trip to the vet?
Nauuq was whining most of this morning and not much unusual until I noticed the puffy eyes and remembers that she was slightly vomity earlier but not unusal as she chews most anything, but fearing the worst I called the vet.
A possible allergy reaction..note the puffy muzzle and eyes..ate something off or bitten by an insect. Where does one find insects in the middle of winter in Alberta! But off to the vet for both dogs.
I'll get weighed too, both dogs are about the same just over 50 lbs but Nanuq is a kilo heavier.Resident cat on the vets counter..love the mukticolored toe nails...
.very non-plussed by this barky adolescent puppy!
Later at home happily chewing away.
I took the bendryl and took a nap!

These are lovely pictures. And some very lucky dogs!! I love the one where they're all chewing the same stick. Very sweet.
Thanks for stopping...the 3 dogs on one stick are all members of the same household...of my two only the puppy goes after sticks but was a little intimidated by the other but lots of running as you can see!
Aw, poor Nanuq... I am glad she's feeling better. Your dogs are so smiley - even at the vet's office!
My Golden has had that same kind of allergic reaction, too. Benedryl takes away the swelling very quickly but it also keeps her awake all night.
@DeliaD - WELLL...that explains it i had the night from H. last night with her barking and wanting to go in and out..today she has the trots!
