An Albertan & Canadian, definitely a northern gal. Social worker by profession, this blog has included some of my work over 10 years in Nunavut from 2002 on. Passionate about slowing down & taking time to appreciate the beauty of the outdoors or kindness in relationships as gifts & blessings; injustices against children in situations beyond their control; my faith; Nature, experiencing the outdoors whether cycling, walking. x-c skiing or gardening, my dogs, capturing on film God's beauty, experiencing life intensely & with the senses, richness of late afternoon light, wind in my hair cycling with my dog on a beach road, couching inches from an arctic flower or alpine lichen to capture it with my camera, insight of a student's new learning, a good conversation over a coffee.

Hi Bonnie,
So my mistake.. apparently it is neither the RC or the anglican.. there is actually another church in town.. I don't think it really looks like a church rather just a blue building. My dad said it might be like an evangelical church or something. He said it's across from the RC church, is blue in colour and has a set of steps at the front. Can you find a post a pic of that one??
thanks
Hi....do you realize how many blue buildings with steps ther are?
but I do know where the RC church is so when walking i will look.....in return get me more details of your dad's story. Cheers, Bonnie
@Kluglanoch_Corner - Hi ..the only other info I could get besides the shots I posted was that the original RC church was down from the hill of the present one, two storey, but torn down about 30 years ago...so it has been an interesting quest! Bonnie
