  • Interesting! What keeps the hats on the fence?

I've been looking at your a-z posts. Since I'm from the states, I find I have a real interest in Canada. I do have some blogging friends from Canada but I do not know the geography well enough to know if they are near you or not!

    • Hi there, thanks for stopping by. Where is your home base in the States? Where are your friends in Canada? Alberta is one of the western provinces...we say just go 700 miles north of Montana and you will find Edmonton. The arctic region, Nunavut, i have been blogging about includes all the islands in Hudson's Bay, some of the Barrens to the west and most of the Islands north and to the east. Have abit more info in tmr's post.

  • Hi.
I am enjoying my first visit to your beautiful blog.
I have worked with a number of people from Canada before, and one of them is from Edmonton.
I'd like to know more about your country. Thank you for sharing great pictures and stories.

  • What a fun post! I love the idea of decorating a fence in a unique way. Thanks for sharing pictures; it's neat to see them 'in person' like that.

This is A. Catherine Noon, visiting from my blog at http://acatherinenoon.blogspot.com for the A-Z Challenge, #327 on the list. Happy blogging!

About me...

An Albertan & Canadian, definitely a northern gal. Social worker by profession, this blog has included some of my work over 10 years in Nunavut from 2002 on. Passionate about slowing down & taking time to appreciate the beauty of the outdoors or kindness in relationships as gifts & blessings; injustices against children in situations beyond their control; my faith; Nature, experiencing the outdoors whether cycling, walking. x-c skiing or gardening, my dogs, capturing on film God's beauty, experiencing life intensely & with the senses, richness of late afternoon light, wind in my hair cycling with my dog on a beach road, couching inches from an arctic flower or alpine lichen to capture it with my camera, insight of a student's new learning, a good conversation over a coffee.
